WhatsApp Flows are structured, multi-screen experiences that open inside a WhatsApp chat. They look like a short form or app screen, with text fields, dropdowns, date pickers and checkboxes.
Common uses
- Appointment booking with a date and time picker.
- Lead and sign-up forms.
- Surveys and feedback.
- Insurance or loan quotes.
- Account and preference updates.
How they work
You design screens and fields, then send the flow in an interactive message or a template. The customer fills it in without leaving WhatsApp, and the answers are sent back to your system.
Static or dynamic
Simple flows use fixed screens. Dynamic flows call your server between screens, for example to show real available slots.
Why use flows
They collect structured data in one go, which is faster for customers than answering one question at a time in a chat.
