What the API is
The WhatsApp Business Platform is Meta's official way for businesses to message customers at scale. Unlike the app, it supports many agents, automation, integrations and bulk sending.
- Many users on one number
- Bots, AI agents and integrations
- Bulk sends with approved templates
Embedded signup in minutes
Log in with Facebook, create or pick a business portfolio, add your number and verify it by code. You can send your first message the same day.
- No paperwork to get started
- Use a new number or one from the WhatsApp Business app
Verified badge
Verified businesses can show a badge next to their name, so customers know it is really you. We guide you through business verification and the badge application.
- Business verification in Meta Business Manager
- Display name review
Message-based pricing, explained
Meta charges per delivered template message. Rates depend on the template category (marketing, utility or authentication) and the recipient's country. Replies to customers inside the customer service window are free, and so are utility templates sent inside that window.
- Rate card shown in your currency
- Spend alerts and monthly caps
“I built our order-status bot myself without any help. The preview pane made it easy to test before going live.”

常见问题
No. You can use a new number or connect the number you already use in the WhatsApp Business app. With coexistence, you can keep using the app on that number too.
No. You pay your Whatsuite plan and Meta's message charges. There is nothing to pay to connect.
Replies you send while the customer service window is open are free, as are utility templates sent in that window. Messages within a 72-hour free entry point window from a click-to-WhatsApp ad are also free.
Complete business verification with Meta, then apply for the badge. Approval is at Meta's discretion and usually depends on how well known the business is.
Yes. Meta sets a messaging limit on how many unique customers you can start conversations with in a rolling 24 hours. It rises as you send messages people value.
