MCP (Model Context Protocol)
An open standard that lets AI assistants connect to tools and data sources.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external tools and data. An MCP server describes what it can do, such as search records or create a draft, and an AI assistant can call those tools on the user's behalf.
Why it is useful
Instead of copying data between your AI assistant and your business software, you connect them. You can ask questions in plain language and get answers from live data.
Whatsuite MCP server
The Whatsuite MCP server lets compatible AI assistants:
- Search conversations and contacts.
- Read inbox and campaign reports.
- Prepare actions, such as a campaign draft or bulk tag.
Staying in control
Access uses OAuth with scopes you choose. Anything that sends messages or changes many records waits for a person to approve it, and every action is recorded in the audit log.
